Our Philosophy
Caring for nature, people and oneself
The nature component of the travels is inspired by Dadirri, an australian aboriginal term referring to deep listening. It is defined as a “tuning in” experience to deeply understand the beauty of nature. Earth care and living in harmony with nature is a core principle of this travel. We will ensure that we have minimal environmental impact, with a low carbon footprint. Riding a horse as a way of travel is a proof of this commitment in itself.
The dadirri concept will extend beyond nature, but also to people and ourselves. We will listen to people, hear their stories. We will share these stories to raise awareness on what makes them happy, what inspires them, and provide insights on different cultures, life perspectives, but also issues faced in these communities and possible solutions that could be brought forward.
The environment, animals and wildlife also has stories. We will watch, observe and listen to these stories and share these with you. Some will make you smile, laugh, maybe cry, or trigger a desire and provide you with some inspiration to change.....
....Change yourself.... your perspectives....the way you interact with other human beings and with nature. But also make change happen converting these stories into action, and helping solve issues contributing to a more social and ecological Patagonia.

Riding experience: Charlotte has always been passionate about horses. She is a confident rider who has been riding since age five.
Passions and interests: Animals (interaction, conservation) sustainability, traveling, adrenaline sports (kitesurfing, surfing, skiing), helping others.
Why this trip: Charlotte was captivated by stories of adventurers such as Robyn Davidson who cross the Australian desert over 1700 miles with four camels. While coming out of the ferry one day after work, Charlotte saw Tim Cope’s book “The Trail of the Genghis Khan” relating his travel on horseback across Mongolia on the shelf of the library and she thought why not live a life of adventure, rather than just read about adventurous lives.
Personality type: ENFP
“ENFPs tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism. ENFPs are always looking for a deeper meaning"
After trip stories: Charlotte S likes to measure distance using her GPS, likes to take photos of "cachorros de perros", but does not like when there is 100g difference between the pack boxes!

Riding experience: Capucine has been riding every week for 17 years and before knowing how to walk, she was already sitting on a pony. She likes jumping and dressage, but what she enjoys most is outdoor trekking. Thanks to horse trips in Kirghizstan, Senegal, Ireland and Dominican Republic, she started fulfilling her dreams.
Passions and interests: Horses, traveling, reading books from equestrian adventurers, always eager to get involved in various cultural or humanitarian missions.
Why this trip? Capucine has always wanted to ride through Patagonia and to live the “gaucho” way of life, to reconnect with her passion for horses, traveling and her genetic roots (Capucine's mother is half argentinian)
Personality type: ESFJ
“ESFJ’s are ones of the Sentinels - reliable and dedicated individuals who respect traditions and prize responsibility. They are known for their enthusiasm, social skills and caring nature.”
After trip stories: Capucine likes to have clean feet before going to bed but does not like to wake up early in the morning!
Nationality: French
Languages: French/English/Spanish
Professional background: International Relations and Communications
Riding experience: After following the conventional equestrian circuit, Charlotte found a new passion with horse ball; a collective sport that promotes team work including with your own horse. When she is not playing horse ball, you can find Charlotte riding her pony, Crunchy; enjoying nature and the present moment.
Passions and interests: Adventure; team sports (horse ball; hockey and soccer) as well as adrenaline sports like the other Charlotte (both being into kitesurfing, skiing and snowboarding!). Charlotte loves the book from "Les cavaliers" from Jospeh Kessel that inspired her to make the dream of traveling with horses a reality.
Why this trip: Argentina is a country famous for Pato (the origins of horse ball)...plus, Charlotte wants to discover the wild lands of Patagonia on the back of a criollo horse.
Personality type: TBC
After trip stories: Charlotte V likes to eat prunes, but does not like to wash the dishes in cold water!
The three team riders also share many things in common.... the three girls love chocolate, dulce de leche, the clean smell of clothes coming out of the "lavanderia" and having a good laugh! They do not like being dragged along by Huka, the pack horse
