People

Many thanks to the Long Riders' Guild for its precious help throughout the preparation of the expedition. The LRG kept providing us a huge number of tips and useful advices. Most of all, they let us borrow a pack saddle, as part of a historic experiment. Indeed, the Guild owns three pack saddles, donated by Kelly de Strake, the generous owner of the Custom Pack Rigging company. The three pack saddles are currently in 3 different part of the world  (see: http://www.thelongridersguild.com/pack-saddle-test.htm). We are proud to be part of this international brotherhood of supportive Long Riders..

Massive thanks to Kelly from Custom Packrigging for lending us pack saddle for the journey. This travel will be an opportunity to test new equipment and provide feedback for improvement of future products. We are very happy to be part of this experiment and look forward to making the most of this saddle.

Massive thanks to equine vets Guillaume Delarue and Emma from the Clinique Vétérinaire de la côte fleurie in Normandie for sharing their precious equine care knowledge for a better preparation of our trip and for being open to answering all our questions. It's been a very insightful experience.

Thanks to Stephane and Veronique Bigo who greeted us and welcome us into their house for an intensive one week training to learn everything about traveling with horses and horsemanship. Thanks for sharing your positive vibes, laughts and wonderful stories and anecdotes from your travel adventures across the world on horseback and the million pieces of advice to make our journey a success! And last but not least, thanks to Veronique, for sharing her Qi gong techniques with us, which I am sure will be very helpful to remain calm during stressful situations during our trip!
